Review analyzer
A review analyzer that shows its evidence.
Most review analysis tools give you a sentiment score and a word cloud. Neither tells you what to do. ProofCopy reads every review, turns it into atomic observations with verbatim quotes, counts how many separate customers say each thing, hunts for customers who disagree, and turns the result into one marketing decision.
- 1Paste reviews straight from the page (Amazon UI text is removed automatically) or upload a CSV export.
- 2Get a Quick Scan in about a minute: the strongest finding, a sample of the evidence, one implication.
- 3Run a Deep Analysis for every pattern, counter-evidence, hidden signals and verified copy.
What a good review analysis looks like
A pattern is only as good as its count. ProofCopy labels a pattern STRONG when at least three separate customers say it, it covers at least 15% of the sample and few customers contradict it. MODERATE needs two customers and 6%. Everything else is WEAK. These rules are documented, deterministic and shown next to every pattern, so two people looking at the same report see the same strength.
Quotes are verified verbatim: if a quote cannot be located as an exact span in the source review, it is not shown as a quote. Numbers a customer never wrote never appear in a claim.
Dirty input is normal
Amazon pages come with 'Helpful', 'Report', country headers and 'Translate review to English' lines. G2 exports come as CSV with a dozen columns. Survey tools export one answer per row with a title column. ProofCopy detects the source, removes interface noise, infers CSV columns (review text, rating, date, author, segment) and de-duplicates near-identical entries before any analysis runs. You see the parse result before spending anything.
Reviews in French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch are grouped by meaning with English ones; the quotes stay in the customer's language.
From reviews to a decision
The report opens with the biggest finding, the number of messages that support it and the number that push the other way, why it matters commercially, and the experiment to run. Then come the strongest signals, the things a skim misses, counter-evidence, claims at risk, and what to test next. Generated copy sits at the bottom, verified against the quotes.
Questions
- Which sources work?
- Any text: Amazon, G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, App Store and Play Store reviews, survey answers, support emails, interview notes, and CSV or TXT exports.
- How many reviews can it handle?
- Quick Scan: up to 30. Deep Analysis: up to 1,000 per run, processed in batches with live progress.
- Does it invent anything?
- Quotes must map to a real span in the source or they are dropped. Marketing claims with figures the evidence never states are rejected by a deterministic gate and an independent verifier. It can still misread a message; every finding links to the evidence so you can check.
